I spent the last two days helping my neighbors clean up debris, cut trees down and move out of their destroyed houses. My house was spared. I guess after the destruction of Hurricane Andrew and The loss of my house to Hurricane Wilma, God thought I could use a little reprise from his Wrath. As lucky as I am, I feel kind of sick for making it out unscathed while just a few blocks away, houses are crumpled into little piles of 100 year old debris. I'll be at it again tomorrow, and everyday until Cabbagetown is back together.
